The International College of Energy Healing is dedicated to the provision of high quality programs and courses for individuals wishing to develop energy healing and metaphysical practice. We opened our doors in 2011 as the International College of Energy Healing but our Founder and Principal, Dawn Kirkham has been teaching for over 30 years.
During this time she has been honoured to be part of so many people's journey.
We are committed to providing high quality holistic programs. Students can expect to be supported to achieve success by building competence in the subject being studied. Programs are well structured and combine theory and practice designed to incrementally build the knowledge, skills and confidence of the student. Programs are designed using adult learning principles and accommodate a range of learning styles.
Our tutors are all experienced in the modality they teach and provide a student centered, safe environment that supports learning.
Located on beautiful Vancouver Island the college has its home with Hidden Gem Metaphysical Shop in Langford, BC where it holds many of its programs and workshops.
The College has a vision to provide access to high class training wherever a student is. They provide opportunities for flexible learning through the provision of online and distance learning options for many of their programs and courses.

Founder and Principal
Dawn Kirkham
Founder and Principal
Dawn started her career as a holistic therapist through the study of Reiki. Reiki is not only one of the therapies that she teaches, but is an important part of her spiritual and healing practice.
Dawn consolidated her love of stones and crystals by completing a Diploma in Crystal Healing from St Helens College and went on to provide both Reiki and Crystal healing to clients.
She also holds certifications in Indian Head Massage, Sound Healing, Master, Reiki Drumming, Aromatherapy and Emotional Freedom Technique. She has been supporting client wellness for over 20 years and continues to do this by maintaining a client base.
Dawn is educated to Masters level in her professional field from Liverpool John Moore’s University and applies the skills of research, critical thinking, communication etc. to her work as an holistic therapist and educator.
She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Central Lancashire and has taught at post-secondary institutions both at the undergraduate and post graduate level.
She is a skilled educator and brings this along with a passion for the work into the classroom.
During her career, Dawn was involved in the delivery of National Vocational Qualifications and qualified both as an NVQ Assessor and Verifier.
She brings her knowledge of competency development and assessment to the programs.
Dawn has worked both in the National Health Service (NHS) and Canadian Health system for 25 years and during this time has been exposed to many wonderful experiences that have built her knowledge and skills.
She is a certified mentor and multi-source feedback facilitator and has well developed coaching skills.
She brings this richness of expertise to the role of Principal and course tutor.
